Yvonne Baki is an accomplished Senior Engineering Manager at Wealthsimple since August 2021, leading multiple teams to enhance financial transaction processes, develop backend operations tooling, and monitor microservices performance. Prior to this role, Yvonne served in various capacities at Manulife from August 2012 to July 2021, including Director/Lead Software Engineer, where notable contributions included spearheading the transformation of treasury processes through RESTful API development and fostering talent acquisition. Yvonne's extensive experience also encompasses positions at Kiinzel, Astley Gilbert Limited, TELUS Quebec, and the Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service, with expertise in software development, system engineering, and the implementation of both web and enterprise applications. Yvonne holds a Master's degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from York University.
