Lauren Underwood is a seasoned communications professional, currently serving as the Global Head of Communications at We Are Social since February 2013, where responsibilities include overseeing PR, events, marketing, and thought leadership globally. Underwood has also held leadership roles within We Are Social, including Global Communications Director and Communications Director, where achievements include establishing the communications team and driving UK and global PR strategies. In addition to the role at We Are Social, Underwood is the founder of Yellow PR, focusing on B2B PR within the advertising, marketing, and media sectors. Previous experience includes positions at Velvet PR as Account Director, Rhizome PR as PR Consultant, MGB PR as Senior Account Manager, and HeadLand Consultancy as Account Executive. Educational background includes a BA in Economics from the University of Exeter and A Levels from Olchfa Comprehensive School.
