Sophia Borrelli has extensive experience in journalism, currently serving as an Anchor and Reporter at WDBJ7 since September 2021. Prior to this role, Sophia worked at Heartland Media, LLC as an MMJ/Anchor and held various positions at Nexstar Media Group, Inc., including Weekend Anchor and Producer. Sophia's earlier experiences include roles as a Multimedia Journalist at WFXR Fox News, a Reporter/Photographer at Wday 6 News, and several positions at Citrus TV News, where responsibilities ranged from shooting b-roll to directing camera shots. Sophia began their career with internships at WPXI-TV and NBC 40, gaining foundational skills in news production and reporting. Sophia holds a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from Syracuse University.
