Merrilee Allan, CPHR, CTMP, RPR, is a seasoned human resources professional with extensive experience at the Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba since January 2003, currently serving as Acting Vice President, Human Resources. Merrilee provides strategic leadership and management in various HR functions, including employee engagement, labor relations, and talent management. Previous roles include Director of Human Resources, Manager of Employee and Labour Relations, and various advisory positions focused on recruitment and organizational development. Merrilee's educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Manitoba, a Certificate in Labour Relations from Queen's University, and several HR-focused certificates from the University of Manitoba. Additionally, an Advanced Program in Management, Leadership & Strategy will be completed at the University of Manitoba - Asper School of Business in November 2023.
