Daniela Lizbeth Cazares is a dedicated member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) since September 2021, where efforts are focused on supporting Hispanic journalists and promoting fair treatment in the media. As part of the Latino Reporter for NAHJ 2023 Student Project, valuable experience is gained in a newsroom setting, enhancing skills in writing, reporting, and multimedia coverage. Daniela currently serves as a Production Assistant at the University of Arizona's Digital Futures Bilingual Studio, where responsibilities include scriptwriting and assisting in video production, with a focus on Spanish-language content. Previous experience includes serving as Editor in Chief at The Scratching Post and hosting a podcast during the RadioActive in Yakima journalism workshop. Daniela is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Arizona, expected to graduate in May 2024.
