Erin Allen is a seasoned audio producer and communications expert with extensive experience in digital audio and event management. Currently serving as a Digital Audio Anchor at Chicago Public Media since September 2022, Erin hosts and produces "The Rundown" podcast while shaping the show's brand and direction. Prior roles include Co-Producer at Radio Campfire, where Erin curated themed audio playlists, and Stateside Producer at Michigan Radio, overseeing the Stateside show and podcast. As Executive Producer for the Detroit Podcast Festival, Erin managed logistics and sponsorship of a major conference. Additional experience encompasses communications and fundraising coordination at People in Education, content production at WDET 101.9 FM, and volunteer management at the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Erin holds a BA in Psychology and Sociology from Grand Valley State University.
