Satya Sai Penamakuri is a Machine Learning Engineer at Wayve since October 2024, previously serving as an Applied Scientist at Tractable where research focused on multilingual multimodal LLMs for document understanding and generating repair decisions from images of damaged cars. Satya has experience as a Research Engineer, developing prototype serving architectures, and as a Data Scientist at ZOE, modeling the causal effects of COVID variants which resulted in a publication in the LANCET and optimizing predictions shared with the UK government. Additional roles include Software Engineer at Sparshik Technologies, where work involved face recognition and customer onboarding, and Data Scientist at Cerebronics Technology, focusing on IoT solutions. Satya holds a Master's degree in Machine Learning from UCL and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from The University of Edinburgh.
