Michael Edmonds is an experienced engineer specializing in autonomy and robotics. Currently serving as an Autonomy Engineer at Wayve since November 2021, Michael leads mechanical engineering efforts and research into visual localization for autonomous vehicle resupply. Prior experience includes working as a Robotics Engineer at QinetiQ from September 2015 to November 2021, where Michael focused on land autonomy and completed a graduate research engineer program involving various engineering teams. Earlier in Michael's career, a placement at Dstl provided substantial exposure to feasibility studies for new equipment within the Land Battlespace Department. Michael holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Loughborough University and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kingston University.
