Yannis Kafaltzis is an experienced professional in the field of addiction support and mental health services, currently serving as Area Manager at Waythrough since November 2024, overseeing a diverse portfolio including substance use support for young people and adults. Previously, Yannis held the position of Service Manager at Humankind Charity, managing a team focused on recovery and treatment plans for young individuals in Lewisham, and also served as Dual Diagnosis Lead at Mind, where Yannis contributed to establishing a counseling service. With a solid foundation in therapeutic practices developed through roles such as Reintegration Practitioner at St Mungo's and Substance Misuse Recovery Practitioner at East London NHS Foundation Trust, Yannis' educational background includes an MSc in Addiction Psychology and Counselling and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from London South Bank University and London Metropolitan University, respectively.
