Wayside Waifs is a non-profit animal shelter in Kansas City, Missouri. Preparing pets and people for the bond of their lives. 

Wayside Waifs is Kansas City's largest, most comprehensive no kill pet adoption campus. For more than 75 years we have worked diligently to place homeless pets in responsible homes. Wayside Waifs also provides: pet adoption, animals rescue, behavior training and enrichment for shelter animals, shelter veterinary care, foster care, volunteer opportunities, off-leash dog park, onsite pet retail, and pet memorial services. Wayside Waifs also provides Humane Education programs for school age children, including a national violence prevention curriculum, No More Bullying!  Wayside receives no government funding and relies 100% on public and private donations.
