Rodney Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations and property management within the retail and aviation sectors. As the General Manager of Property at Waypoint REIT Ltd since January 2019, Rodney has successfully driven business results across a $2.65 billion portfolio. Previously, as Operations Manager for Viva Energy Australia, Rodney managed a network of over 1,200 retail sites, establishing operational standards and overseeing significant capital investment programs. Rodney's career at Shell spanned over 12 years in various leadership roles, including Aviation Operations Manager, Global Operations Excellence Manager for Retail, and Retail Network Planner for Oceania, where strategic planning and customer experience initiatives were key focuses. Rodney holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Tasmania.
