Meihua Zhai is an experienced professional in institutional research and analytics, currently serving as the Assistant to the Vice President for Institutional Research & Analytics at Wayne State University since February 2019. Prior to this role, Meihua Zhai held the position of Chief Analytics Officer and Assistant Vice President of Institutional Research at Kennesaw State University, where leadership of a team that provided data-driven decision-making support to senior leaders was essential. Previous roles include Principal Data Scientist for Student Success Predictive Analytics and Director of Institutional Research at the University of Georgia, as well as various leadership positions in research and policy analysis across several organizations, including the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration and the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. Meihua Zhai earned a Ph.D. in Educational Research & Measurement from Ohio University.
