Mehedi Zihad is a skilled professional with a strong background in education and software development. Currently serving as a DAPCEP Lead Instructor at Wayne State University since June 2022, Mehedi provides mentorship to students and manages classroom dynamics. Previous experience includes developing the Pizza Connection App as a Senior Capstone Software Developer and working as an NSF Undergraduate Researcher on sustainable engineering design applications. Additionally, Mehedi has held roles as an Aviation Career Program Intern, where curriculum updates were conducted, and as an Engineering Outreach Office Coordinator, collaborating with stakeholders to implement outreach programs. Mehedi also worked as an Associate at Amazon from October 2021 to August 2023. Mehedi Zihad holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Wayne State University and an Associate of Science in Pre-Engineering from Wayne County Community College District.
