Azza Ali is a distinguished Rheumatologist currently serving as the Rheumatology Section Chief at John D Dingell VAMC since September 2015. In addition to this role, Azza Ali is a Clinical Preceptor at Detroit Medical Center and holds multiple academic positions including Associate Program Director for the Rheumatology Fellowship Program at both Wayne State University and Detroit Medical Center. Azza Ali also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Wayne State University. Previous experience includes completing a Rheumatology fellowship and a Geriatrics fellowship at Wayne State University, along with practicing as an Internist and Hospitalist at Detroit Medical Center. Azza Ali earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine from the University of Gezira between 1996 and 2002.
