Joann Mirasolo, RDN, currently serves as a Clinical Outpatient Dietitian at Wayne State University Physician Group since February 2015, specializing in diabetes education, weight loss, renal disease, food allergies, and tube feeding, and actively conducts diabetes nutrition classes and cooking demonstrations. With over 17 years of experience as a registered dietitian and a certification in progress as a diabetes educator, Joann collaborates closely with nephrologists, endocrinologists, and internal medicine physicians while managing their own billing. Previous roles include Registered Dietitian at HCR ManorCare/Sodexo and Food Service Manager at Morrison Healthcare, where responsibility encompassed overseeing multiple supervisors and staff members. Joann holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in General Dietetics from Madonna University and an Associate of Science in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Macomb Community College.
