Steve Vozar is a highly experienced technical leader in the field of robotics and autonomous systems. Currently serving as a Technical Lead Manager for Fallbacks and Reliability at Waymo and as Principal for Vozar Technology Consulting, Steve has previously held the position of CTO and Co-Founder at May Mobility, where Steve led the deployment of the first commercial fleet of self-driving shuttles in the United States. Steve's extensive experience includes roles as a Research Fellow at the University of Michigan, a Postdoctoral Fellow at Johns Hopkins University, and several positions during the early stages of Steve's career, including co-founder and VP of Technology at Absolute Nano. Steve holds a PhD, MSE, and BSE in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
