Kiranjit Sidhu currently serves as the Senior Director of Engineering at Waymo since August 2023. Previously, Kiranjit held the position of Director of Engineering at Facebook from June 2007 to August 2023, contributing significantly to the original Growth engineering team and overseeing core areas such as SEO, user experience, and localization efforts. Kiranjit also led the Vancouver engineering office from 2013 to 2015, handling recruitment and product development. Prior work experience includes a role as a software engineer at Amazon for a brief period in 2006 and at Suncor from 2004 to 2005. Kiranjit holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Northern British Columbia.
