Adam Kalachman is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as a Tech Lead and Manager at Waymo since September 2016, Adam specializes in simulation for autonomous vehicles. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Google, where Adam led the Public Alerts team and focused on disaster information visualization. Adam's earlier positions include software development at Mentor Graphics, where responsibilities involved creating digital security APIs and managing key and certificate policies, as well as an instructional role at the Career Education Center, teaching a variety of technology courses. Adam holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, complemented by a background in software intern positions and early teaching experience.
