Deirdre MacCarthy is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various esteemed organizations. Currently serving as Chief Legal Officer and Head of People at Wayflyer since January 2022, Deirdre previously held the position of Partner at Maples Group from June 2012 to December 2021. Deirdre began a legal career at Arthur Cox, progressing from Trainee Solicitor to Solicitor between October 2002 and April 2007. Additional experience includes roles as an Associate at Byrnewallace and a brief secondment with Elan Pharmaceuticals. Deirdre earned an LLB in Law from Trinity College Dublin and completed education at Alexandra College Dublin. Further professional development includes training at the Law Society of Ireland.
