XiLin Choi is a research professional currently interning at The Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research Institute, focusing on optic flow and human motion perception. In addition, XiLin serves as a Research Assistant at the Berkeley Early Learning Lab, studying children's cognitive development using eye-tracking technology, and holds the position of Chief of Staff at Ask Nina AI, concentrating on user research and product strategy for a conversational AI platform aimed at empowering girls. Previous experiences include roles at LISN, Palo, UC Berkeley's Department of Anthropology, AI for Good Foundation, and political strategizing for a local campaign, demonstrating a strong interdisciplinary background in research, user experience, and community engagement. XiLin Choi is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of California, Berkeley, with a focus on Cognitive Science, French, and Human Rights.
