Ben Thomas is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Waycross Partners, an independent investment management firm located in Louisville, KY, with additional offices in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Since the firm's establishment in 2005, Ben has also served on its Board of Directors. Prior to Waycross Partners, Ben worked as a Contributor at TheStreet.com from 2004 to 2011, and held various roles on the board of directors for the CFA Society of Louisville from 2003 to 2011. Ben's experience in investment management includes positions as a Portfolio Manager and Equity Analyst at INVESCO Institutional from 1999 to 2005, and a Portfolio Manager at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in 1999. Early in the career, Ben was a Financial Advisor in the Private Client Group at Prudential Securities from 1997 to 1999. Ben holds a B.A. in Finance from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from Indiana University Southeast.
