John D. Bidwell has had a diverse work experience, starting as a Senior Designer at Q LTD in 1994 and FamilyFun Magazine in 1998. John D. then became the President of their own business, Bidwell ID, from 1999 to 2011. John D. later worked as the Director of Marketing and Digital Strategy at Baystate Health from 2012 to 2016. Following this, they served as the Executive Director for Marketing and New Business Development at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2016-2017. John then transitioned to the non-profit sector, working as the Executive Director and Executive Consultant at United Way of the Franklin & Hampshire Region from 2018 to 2022. More recently, they have been a Strategy and Marketing Advisor at Rainmaker Consulting in 2022, and currently serves as the Chief Development Officer (CDO) at Way Finders since 2023. John is also an experienced author and editor, having worked on books like "Shores Beyond Shores: From Holocaust to Hope" with Leapfrog Press in 2005.

John D. Bidwell graduated with a BA in Religious Studies from McGill University in 1986. In addition, they have obtained various certifications over the years, including a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification in 2022.
