Caitlin is the Director of Health Communications at Waxman Strategies. She brings nearly a decade of experience in politics, policy, and communications, as well as deep expertise in health care, to her role as a Director of Health care Communications with Waxman Strategies.
Prior to joining Waxman, Caitlin served as a Director with Crosscut Strategies, where she managed communications programs for innovative health care clients working at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and health care delivery reform. There, she led a portfolio of accounts with a particular focus on issues related to value-based care and federal insurance programs, providing smart strategy and leveraging her strong media relationships to deliver for clients.
Previously, Caitlin worked for five years at the Bipartisan Policy Center, a Washington D.C.-based think tank working to combine the best ideas from both parties. She spent four years as part of the organization’s public health policy team, conducting research, developing and pitching op-eds, and authoring policy papers on issues related to social determinants of health and chronic disease. She also supported BPC’s development team creating content and messaging to convey the real-world impact of BPC’s policy work to donors and prospects.
In 2018, Caitlin spent time on the campaign trail with the communications team to help elect Rep. Susan Wild (D-PA). Caitlin graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Franklin and Marshall College, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Political Management from The George Washington University.
