Eric Lim has over 25 years of work experience in the semiconductor industry. Eric began their career in 1994 as a Senior Equipment Engineer at Chartered Semiconductor, where they were responsible for starting up plasma etch equipment, maintaining key equipment performance indices, and implementing continuous improvement and cost reduction programs. Eric also served as an Equipment/Process Engineer for the Clean Technology department. In 1998, they joined SILICON MANUFACTURING PARTNERS PTE LTD as a Section Manager of Plasma Etch Equipment & Clean Technology Process & Equipment Engineering, where they were part of the startup team for a wafer fab and headed a technology transfer team to Lucent USA. In 2001, they moved to Lam Research as a Manager of Field Service, CSBG. In 2005, they became the Executive Director at Richz Technology (S) Pte Ltd, where they provided turnkey engineering solutions for capital equipment system contract manufacturing and vacuum equipment MRO. In 2020, they joined Candela Singapore as an Operation, providing innovative autonomous robot solutions. Most recently, in 2022, they became the Operation Director at WaveScan, a company specializing in the R&D of disruptive beamforming electromagnetics based smart sensor systems and advanced AI algorithms.

Eric Lim obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Nanyang Technological University Singapore in 2002, with a field of study in Management of Technology. Prior to this, they obtained their BSc degree from Texas A&M University in 1994, with a field of study in Electrical Engineering and Microelectronics. In October 2021, they obtained the Agile Thinking and Leadership - Foundation certification from ACESENCE Agile Leadership Coaching and Training Pte Ltd. Eric also holds a BizSafe Level 3 and ISO9001 certification.
