Suyash Pawaskar is a Metallurgist with experience at Waupaca Foundry since July 2022. Prior to this, Suyash served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Missouri University of Science and Technology from August 2019 to June 2022, focusing on a project sponsored by the American Foundry Society that investigated the effects of Boron in Grey cast irons and the role of elements like Copper, Tin, and Nitrogen. Suyash also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, responsible for lab heat planning and specimen preparation for various iron and steel alloys. Earlier experience includes a role as Executive in Quality Control Engineering at POSCO Maharashtra Steel in India, where Suyash worked with galvanized products. Suyash holds a Master of Science in Metallurgical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, an Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai. Education also includes the completion of the International Baccalaureate diploma.
