Thakur Prasad is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Senior Vice President Technical at Wattpower Systems Pvt. Ltd. since November 2022. Prior to this role, Thakur held the position of Solution Manager at Wattkraft Industries Private Limited from August 2017 to November 2022. Thakur has also contributed as Assistant Manager-Solar at Informage Energy Pvt Ltd, focusing on the technical design and execution of solar projects, and as Senior Engineer at Lasersunenergy Pvt Ltd, specializing in solar electrification. Earlier experience includes managing a renewable energy project in Nepal as Project Engineer for Energy International Pvt. Ltd. and ensuring product quality at Litaski Electricals. Thakur holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University Chennai and a Diploma in the same field from St. Paul’s Matriculation Higher Secondary School.
