Katie Wright is an experienced professional in the fields of safeguarding and welfare within sports organizations. Currently serving as the Safeguarding and Welfare Manager at Watford Football Club since February 2021, Katie has also held roles as Safeguarding Officer for the Academy and Women’s team, as well as Project Officer for the National Citizen Service. Prior to this, experience includes positions at London Irish Rugby Club as Education Lead and Officer, and as a UEFA EURO 2020 Volunteer Assistant for The Football Association. Additional roles range from Business Coordinator at Auriol Event Leadership LLP to Assistant Venue Operations Manager for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Management Sciences from Loughborough University and attendance at The Royal Masonic School for Girls.
