Mike Dent is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software development and management across various sectors. Currently serving as Head of Digital Solutions at Waterstons since August 2022, Mike leads specialized teams in software development, focusing on creating solutions ranging from microservices to enterprise-level products. Previous roles include Head of Bespoke Software at Novacyt Group, where Mike contributed to life-changing PCR instrumentation, and Software Development Manager at IRIS Software Group, where Mike championed Agile and DevOps practices. Mike's career also includes significant positions at Tracerco Ltd, Johnson Matthey, and Pearson-Harper Ltd, specializing in software solutions for the oil and gas industry and enterprise-scale applications. Mike holds a Master's Degree in PC Interfacing and a Bachelor's Degree in Astrophysics from the University of Central Lancashire.
