George Hewitt is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience at Waterstons since July 2009, currently serving as Principal Solutions Architect and formerly in roles such as Solutions Architect and Head of Managed Services. In these positions, George has focused on designing solutions leveraging the Microsoft stack and has substantial expertise across networking, server/datacentre, and cloud technologies. Additionally, George has led crucial remote support and managed hosting functions while managing a diverse team within Managed Services. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Consultant and Consultant in the Managed Services department. George began their career with an industrial placement at Sevcon in 2008 and holds an MEng in Electronic & Computer Engineering from Newcastle University, completed in 2009.
