Michael Duintjer serves as the Algemeen Bestuurder at Waterschap Hunze en Aa's since April 2023 and is a member of the Commissie Landelijk Gebied Drenthe at Provincie Drenthe since September 2019. Duintjer is involved with Prolander in multiple roles, including membership in various program teams. Additional leadership includes a board position with the Vereniging Gronings en Drents Particulier Grondbezit and long-term directorship at BV Landgoed Westersche veld van Rolde and Duintjer.Natuurbeheer ZZP, focusing on nature management and project leadership. An interim directorship at Coöperatie Bosgroep Noord Oost Nederland UA was successfully concluded, and Duintjer has previously contributed as a board member for Bosgroep Noord Oost Nederland and SBNL. With an educational background in mechanical engineering from Hanze University, Duintjer has experience in nature preservation and agricultural practices, highlighted by owning and managing a Wagyu cattle farm until 2019.
