Jan Bonjer is a board member at Waterschap Hollandse Delta. Jan has previously worked as a hoofdredacteur at Het Financieele Dagblad, Free Voice, and AD NieuwsMedia. Jan has also been a member of the Adviesraad Autoriteit Nucleaire Veiligheid en Stralingsbescherming and the voorzitter Raad van Toezicht at the HMC mbo vakschool voor hout, meubel en interieur.

Jan Bonjer studied business administration and management at the Instituut voor Bedrijfskunde/ IBO Zeist. Jan later studied corporate communication at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Jan also studied biology at Leiden University, but did not complete their degree. Jan started their studies in animal science at Utrecht University, but later transferred to IBO/Zeist to study business administration and management. Jan graduated from Rijnlands Lyceum Oegstgeest with an Atheneum-B degree. Jan is currently studying digital transformation and paradoxical leadership at IMD.
