Suryakant Jain is a skilled mechanical engineer with a strong background in design and project management within the engineering sector. Currently a Team Lead at Waterloop, Suryakant is overseeing architecture development for the G7 pod, focusing on high voltage and suspension systems. Previously as Mechanical Lead at Waterloop, Suryakant managed the design and manufacturing projects for the G6 pod, including the creation of a high-capacity water-cooled battery pack. Suryakant has also gained experience through internships at Tesla, where Suryakant designed actuation systems and collaborative machinery to enhance production efficiency, and at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada, where Suryakant implemented significant improvements in vehicle production processes. Earlier experience includes a role as an Engineering Technician at Halyard Inc., where Suryakant contributed to various metal projects and automation tasks. Suryakant is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Waterloo.
