Henri Van Canneyt is an experienced investment professional currently serving as an Investment Director at Waterland Private Equity since November 2009. Prior to this role, Henri held positions as an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurial Finance at Solvay Business School and completed internships in private equity at Gilde Buy Out Partners and Subhkam Ventures India Ltd. Henri's early career included financial analysis at Bank Degroof and wealth management at Petercam. Academically, Henri holds a Master of Management Engineering with a major in Finance and Entrepreneurship and a Bachelor in Management Science with a focus on Business and Engineering from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, as well as an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
