Alex Ruganzu has a strong background in finance and project financing. Their most recent role was as a Senior Finance Officer at WaterAid, starting in November 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Financing Expert at Rwanda Housing Authority from December 2015 to November 2019. Before that, they held the position of Finance Admin Manager at SFH from April 2012 to March 2015. Alex's earliest role in their career was as a Finance Analyst at PSI Rwanda, where they worked from February 2008 to March 2012.

Alex Ruganzu obtained an Associate’s Degree in Business Studies from Makerere University Business School between 2000 and 2002. alex then pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from Kyambogo University, completing it from 2004 to 2007. Later, they enrolled in Mt Kenya University and earned a Master’s Degree in MBA Accounting and Finance, which they obtained between 2011 and 2013.
