Annie Schleicher brings extensive experience in education and administration, currently serving as the Director of Enrollment and Accounts, Director of Operations, and Business Manager at Washington Yu Ying Public Charter School since September 2014. Prior roles include English teacher at Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School, where Annie taught literature and public speaking, and a tutor at Educational Connections, focusing on literature and study skills. Additionally, Annie worked as an Associate Editor for PBS NewsHour, managing educational resources for high school students, and as a Global TeachNet Program Coordinator for the National Peace Corps Association. Annie's earlier experience includes teaching English in Mongolia with the U.S. Peace Corps and teaching high school English at Villa Maria Academy. Annie holds a BA in English Education from Mercyhurst University and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh, with additional studies at Trinity College Dublin.
