Yvonne Montoya Zamora currently serves as the Diversity Initiatives Coordinator at Washington State University Spokane, a position held since November 2007, where responsibilities include overseeing and assessing diversity needs, programs, and initiatives to enhance the recruitment and success of diverse groups within the campus community. Prior to this role, Yvonne worked as an HR Generalist, assisting departments with position descriptions, performance expectations, and layoff processes. Previous experience includes serving as a Human Resources Consultant 2 at Community Colleges of Spokane from 1999 to 2007 and as a Human Resource Assistant Senior at Eastern Washington University from 1988 to 1999. Yvonne holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Public Administration in Public Administration from Eastern Washington University, completed in 2007.
