Ekene Onukogu is a Contributing Writer for Washington Square News, delivering daily news to a wide readership across multiple campuses. Previous experience includes internships at Paramount in Business Development & Operations, where research on distributors and competitors was conducted, and at NEON as a Digital Distribution Intern, where coordination of creative materials for films was managed. In a Licensing Intern role at BBC Studios, Ekene supported the North America & Latin America licensing team. Engagement in extracurricular activities includes serving as Social Coordinator for the NYU Stern Tisch Entertainment Business Association and as a Content Creator for NYU CommClub. Ekene's background also includes tutoring with America Reads*America Counts, administrative support roles at New York University, and leadership positions such as NYU Welcome Leader and 11th Floor Representative. Ekene is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Media, Culture, and Communications at New York University, alongside a minor in the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology.
