Cara McNeil has a diverse work experience in the field of communication and marketing. Cara started their career in 2008 as a Marketing and Administrative Assistant at Lakewood Ranch Commercial Realty, where they were responsible for advertising, website management, photography, and providing support to the company's executives. In 2012, they joined Washington REALTORS® as a Communications & Publications Manager, overseeing member communications, managing publications, and handling e-mail marketing. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Communications at Washington REALTORS®, where they lead a team in developing and implementing an effective communications and public relations program while also serving as Editor-in-Chief of association publications.

Cara McNeil completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication and Media Studies from The Evergreen State from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in General Studies - Honors Program from Seminole State College, Florida from 2007 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Cara McNeil has also obtained a certification in At Home With Diversity from the National Association of REALTORS® in January 2022.
