Frances Osamor is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and application support. Currently serving as a Senior Application System Specialist at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority since June 2023, Frances also holds the position of Lead System Engineer ll/Analyst with the DC Government, focusing on troubleshooting network issues and performing root-cause analysis since October 2021. Previous roles include Information Technology Engineer at Northrop Grumman, where responsibility included managing help desk tasks and technical methodologies for Service Now, as well as SQL Database Administrator at Protocall Communications, overseeing database management and SQL services. Frances began a career in healthcare as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Research Assistant at St Elizabeth Hospital, coordinating lab projects and assisting in data analysis and publication. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science at the University of the District of Columbia, Frances holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in the same field, demonstrating a strong academic background in computer science.
