Aliah McCord is currently serving as Associate Editor-in-Chief for the Washington Law Review while pursuing a Doctor of Law degree at the University of Washington School of Law, where enrollment began in September 2022. Previous experience includes roles as a Summer Associate at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, a Judicial Extern at King County Superior Court, and a Summer Fellow at both Susman Godfrey LLP and QLaw Foundation. Aliah also worked as a Personal Assistant to a Federal Judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and served as a Legal Advocate at the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project. Additional experience includes a Congressional Internship with Representative Jimmy Panetta. Aliah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Government and Spanish from the University of Puget Sound, earned in May 2020.
