Jamie Gehring is a Data Visualization Analyst at the Washington Health Benefit Exchange since June 2022. Previously, Jamie served as a Data Scientist at the Allen Institute for Cell Science from March 2018 to April 2022, where responsibilities included extracting and analyzing image data, creating visualizations, and managing multi-team projects. Additional experience includes a role as a Cultural Resource Monitor for the Nisqually Indian Tribe, ensuring construction projects did not threaten cultural resources, and working as a Biological Science Technician with the National Park Service, focusing on bear management. Jamie also has a background in GIS as a Technician for the Kansas Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit. Academically, Jamie holds a Master of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology from Washington State University and a Bachelor of Science in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology from Kansas State University.
