Christi B. Spann is a seasoned production stage manager currently serving as the Resident Production Stage Manager at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater since July 2022. Prior to this role, Spann worked as a freelance AEA stage manager at both Arena Stage and Shakespeare Theatre Company from October 2011 to July 2022. Additional experience includes positions as a Finance Administrative Assistant for Special Olympics from January 2021 to June 2022, Adjunct Faculty at Georgetown University in early 2018, and Production Stage Manager at Virginia Repertory Theatre from October 2014 to October 2017. Spann's career also includes significant work as an AEA stage manager at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts from December 1998 to May 2010 and as an AEA Production Stage Manager at Great River Shakespeare Festival, where involvement included launching the inaugural season and developing production operations. Christi B. Spann holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Dance from the University of Richmond, earned from 1994 to 1998.
