Bemnet Ali is currently a Volunteer Crisis Counselor at Crisis Text Line since July 2023 and serves as a Student Assistant at Washington and Lee University from September 2022. In addition, Bemnet has been an Executive Assistant at Assefa & Associates Law Office since August 2017, where responsibilities include managing schedules, coordinating meetings, typing and proofreading legal documents, and handling various administrative tasks. Bemnet is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at Washington and Lee University, expected to graduate in 2026, having previously completed the International Baccalaureate program and earned high school diplomas from both the International Baccalaureate and Sandford International School.
