Emily Johnson, LICSW, is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in various therapeutic roles. Currently serving as a Mental Health Therapist at ORKA Health and Wellness, PLLC since May 2024, Emily also holds a long-standing position at Washburn Center For Children, where responsibilities have included Clinical Supervisor, Intensive In-Home Family Therapist, and Mental Health Case Manager since February 2014. Prior experience includes work as a Child and Family Therapist at St. Joseph's Home for Children, where focus was on children's mental health in residential treatment, and as a Client Support Specialist and Grief Counselor at MN Pets, providing support for end-of-life planning and pet loss. Additional roles involved intensive case management for homeless youth at Catholic Charities and social work internships at the University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical Center and Northrop Urban Environmental Learning Center.
