Chris has extensive experience in the public sector having held board-level director positions in the NHS for over 20 years. During this period he worked on major projects including hospital relocation, creating a joint venture with the private sector to develop new primary care premises, and developing strategic plans. Chris was previously Chair and Governor of Queen Alexandra College (an independent specialist college for people with disabilities). He is currently Chair of The Dystonia Society, a national charity supporting people affected by this incurable neurological condition'. Chris is a qualified accountant and his early career was spent in commerce and industry, beginning with Automotive Products in Leamington Spa (now the location of Warwick Trident College). Chris is married with two adult children, one of whom is autistic and works as a school cleaner in Coventry, and the other who works as a digital designer in Sydney.
