Chris Metcalfe serves as the Executive Head of School Improvement at Warrington Borough Council, leading a team to support schools in need since April 2019. In addition, Chris has been the Executive Headteacher at St Margaret’s CE Primary School and the Chair of the Board of Members and Directors at St Michael's Church of England High School Chorley. With extensive experience in educational leadership, previous roles include Headteacher at St Margaret's CE Primary School, Broad Oak Primary School, and Chiddingly Primary School, where significant improvements were achieved, including leading Chiddingly Primary out of Special Measures. Chris has also held the position of Director at Innov8ed Foundation Ltd, a non-profit school improvement company. Education credentials include a Doctor of Education in progress at The University of Bolton and multiple qualifications in Educational Management and Leadership from reputable institutions.
