Michael Tappan is a seasoned executive search professional with extensive experience in corporate governance advisory and recruitment for board directors and C-suite executives. Currently serving as Partner in the International Board Practice at Ward Howell International since September 2017, Michael previously held the position of Managing Director at DoverBridge LLC from September 2013 to September 2017, focusing on the Ukrainian market. As President & CEO of RSR Russia from May 2007 to September 2013, Michael led an affiliate of RSR Partners, further enhancing experience in strategic executive placements. Early career highlights include co-founding and chairing Ward Howell International's operations in Russia, and senior roles at Russell Reynolds Associates and Clark, Dodge & Company. Michael holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in English Literature from Yale University.
