Jason Fritz is a contributing editor at War on the Rocks and a senior research analyst and project manager at The Brookings Institution. Jason is also a lecturer at Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs. Jason Fritz has over fifteen years of experience in the field of conflict resolution and has worked as a consultant, researcher, and subject matter expert for a number of organizations, including the World Bank, the U.S. Army Peacekeeping and Stability Operations Institute, and Valens Global. Their areas of expertise include police training, the use of land power in contemporary conflicts, war game design and facilitation, doctrine writing, training, and defense acquisition support.
Jason Fritz earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the United States Military Academy at West Point. After that, they went on to earn a Master of Science in Terrorism and Homeland Security Policy from American University. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Justice, Law & Criminology from American University.
