Laura Byrne has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Laura is currently the Vice President of Finance and Operations at War Child Canada, a position they have held since October 2022. Prior to this, Laura served as the Vice President of Finance at Reklaim from June 2019 to September 2022 and at Freckle from June 2019 to April 2020. Laura also worked as the Director of Finance at Reklaim from May 2018 to June 2019 and at Freckle from October 2016 to June 2019. Before their roles in the private sector, Laura held various financial management positions at Porter Airlines Inc. and the Toronto 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games Organizing Committee. Laura started their career as a Senior Staff Accountant at Ernst & Young from January 2006 to May 2010.

Laura Byrne attended Wilfrid Laurier University from 2003 to 2007. During this time, they pursued an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Accounting.
