Luis is an Associate Engineer in Walter P Moore’s Diagnostics Group in Panama City. Having worked in the industry since 2007, Luis’ expertise is focused on the structural design of high-rise, commercial, and residential buildings. He also welcomes the challenges of structural assessments and retrofitting commercial and residential facilities. Throughout his career, Luis has spent almost a decade focused on the design of commercial, residential, and industrial facilities for the private and government sectors in Panama. He is skilled in performance-based seismic design in Central America and his expert opinion is highly sought after.

Luis obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Technological University of Panama and a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering - Structural/Geotechnical - from the University of Arkansas. He is also a licensed professional engineer in Panama. A Panama native, he is fluent in both English and Spanish.
